Philippians 4:11 NLT
"Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have."
In this passage Paul is explaining his current situation, which is bleak to say the least. However, Paul is completely fulfilled even with his lack of basic needs.
He goes on to say he’s learned to live on an empty stomach, a full stomach, with a lot & very little. He draws his strength from Jesus.
He found contentment in his love for Jesus Christ.
Contentment is depending solely on God to provide and meet every need we have spiritually and physically.
We have to make a conscious decision everyday to be content. God can and will provide our true needs.
The secret to being content isn’t luxuries or possessions, it's only through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I pray everyone finds the key to contentment because the more we have of Jesus, the more hardship we can persevere!
