1 Peter 1:24-25 NLT
As the scriptures say, "People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. But the word of the Lord remains forever."
Everything surrounding us is temporal. The grass, the beautiful spring flowers, all temporary.
Everything on Earth has an expiration date, including us. It's disheartening how much time we waste worrying over things of this world that won't last another 100 years, let alone forever.
What will abide forever is the word spoken from our Father in Heaven. We can be comforted in the fact that God is still speaking to us today and His word is alive and will never die!
You can count on the goodness of His word for all eternity!
God endures, never changes and those who walk with Him will live forever in paradise.
